Paisleys & Posies Simple Z Fold Card

Hi Stampers, welcome to another Stamping Techniques 101 Blog Hop

Techniques 101 by Sandi @ www.stampinwithsandi.com

Our Challenge this week is a simple Z Fold card.  I decided to create mine with the Paisleys & Posies Suite which can be found on pages 46 and 47 of the Holiday catalog:

I love tone on tone cards, so this Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Paper was perfect!  Mint Macaron and Soft Suede, what a lovely warm combo to add to a Mint Macaron card base and I highlighted these two colours with just a touch of Delightful Dijon

While this card looks over the top, it’s really quite easy.  I decided to make both my sides identical so that it looked like a single card front when it was closed (left image), but it really pops when you opened it.

I recorded a video to take you step by step through creating the card.  If you are reading this in an e-mail, you may have to click on the title of the post to visit my blog to view it.

You will find the cutting instructions for this project at the end of my post.

Now it’s time to hop and see what the rest of the Design Team has chosen for our Simple Z Fold Card Challenge for this month:
