Sandi MacIver – Stampin with Sandi – Stampin Up First Frost
Hi Stampin friends and welcome back. My share today is created with the NEW Stampin Up First Frost Bundle coming in the Holiday Catalogue September 5th.
Our Blog Hop today is a colour Challenge which normally baffles me, but as soon as I saw it, I knew I was going to use this bundle to create with.
I decided to cut out, watercolour and sponge a bunch of pieces first and see where they took me…..they took me to two cards haha.
I used sponge daubers to add the colour for the flowers as I wanted a more muted effect.
For the bottom card, I cut out the branch in watercolour paper and used the Blackberry Bliss ink pad lid to colour it. The lacy center label is cut with the Stitched Labels Die set.
For the top card, I cut the branch out of the Blackberry Bliss cardstock and sponged the other leaves and branches.
A bit of the Polka Dot Tulle ribbon is tucked in behind each and I embossed the background of both cards with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder and a embellished both with the New Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets.
Now it’s time to hop over and see what Eva has created with the challenge, it will be amazing I know. You can click on the Next button, or on her name below to visit her blog:
